The seven persons on board the Nigeria Air Force helicopter that crashed on Saturday morning have been confirmed dead.
The National Emergency Management Agency confirmed the death of the seven persons. The chopper crashed in Kaduna, Kaduna State close to the Nigeria Defence Academy.
The crash, according to available information, occurred 10 minutes after take off. The helicopter was said to be heading to Abuja.
The accident is coming less than a month after a helicopter in the fleet of Bristow Helicopters Nigeria Limited crashed in Lagos State.
Six of the 12 persons on board the ill-fated chopper, including the pilot and co-pilot, died.
