Pregnant Woman Beats To Coma Another Pregnant Woman

A 34-year-old pregnant woman, Ikhenbor Joy, has beaten unconscious another pregnant woman, Gift Nkechi.

Leadership reports that the 8-month pregnant women got into a brawl at No 3 Ikhuenbor Lane off Odion Street, Evbuotubu Quarters in Egor local government in Edo state. Joy allegedly bit and pounced on Nkechi, hitting her with her fists. The beating led doctors to perform a caesarian section on Nkechi to remove her baby.

Nkechi has been arraigned before an Egor Magistrate Court. Joy was arraigned on two-count charge of assault and causing bodily harm.

Just recently, three police officers who brutalized an eight-month pregnant woman in Lagos were sanctioned.
