Are you in Lagos? Are you a student? Are you looking for creative ways to become useful to yourself before you resume school in September? We offer ten great tips for a productive holiday.
 

1. Find holiday job: You are not too young to work. You can apply to work as a sales boy or girl in a super market or retail out lets. This will give you some experience in marketing and money management. Ask your parents to give you direction.

2. Work with your parents: You can also work with your parents if they own a business. This will give you an idea of what they go through. If it is a family business, you will learn valuable experience on how to continue the business.

3,Attend Summer School: The good old summer school can keep you away from vices.

4, Learn a Language: You can either attend Goethe Institut or the French Cultural Center to learn a foreign language.

5.Learn a vocation: Summer holiday is the time to learn a vocation such as baking, hairdressing and even learn how to fix cars with an established auto workshop.

6.Travel to see grandma: You may also want to spend time with your grandma this summer holiday.

7.Stay In Your Parents Shop: If your parents have a small business like a shop. This is the time to relieve your mother while she takes a deserved rest.

9. Attend a Camp: It may be camping organized by the your religious organization where you can learn some moral values.

10. Write a diary: You can keep track of your daily activities. This will help you understand how you spend your holiday when you are asked to write about it when you resume. Who knows, you can also develop it into a book in future.
